Ever since I can remember, I’ve been drawn to art. My creative journey started at five when my parents signed me up for ballroom dancing (yes, really), and I stuck with it and ballet for the next 11 years (fun fact, I played Misha in the Nutcracker in Toronto). But it wasn’t until I picked up a film camera at 12 that I found my true passion—capturing real, unscripted moments.
The nostalgia of 35mm film, from carefully composing a shot to watching it come to life in a darkroom, completely hooked me. That experience shaped my documentary-style approach to weddings photography, where I focus on capturing the little moments that make your love story yours—the stolen glances, the inside jokes, the way your partner looks at you when they think no one’s watching.
When I’m not behind the camera, I’m a husband, a dad to two incredible little girls, and a proud dog owner. I love riding my motorcycle, sipping a good cup of tea (or coffee, I’m easy), and I have Friends, The Office pratically memorized. If you quote Lord of the Rings or cast a spell from Harry Potter, we’ll get along just fine. And while I don’t have The Notebook or A Walk to Remember memorized, let’s just say I know enough to remind you that love is patient, love is kind… and that sometimes, a little bit of rain makes for the most magical photos.
Let’s be real—those overly posed, “stand here and smile” wedding shots? Maybe a bit for photos with your second cousin, but otherwise not my thing. The best moments happen in between—the laughter, the happy tears, the way your hands find each other naturally. My job is to capture those moments, so you can relive them for a lifetime.
